Before placing an order for this wine, please note the following:
  • Low CO2 levels: When you open the bottle, there won’t be a loud pop. This is normal, so don’t be surprised.
  • Completely sound: The wine is in excellent condition and pairs beautifully with a nice piece of red meat, a roast or similar; our top recommendation for this wine.
  • Appearance vs. taste: While the wine may seem to go flat quickly, it retains a delightful fizz on the palate.

For those familiar with this wine, this is well-known, but if you’re new to it, you’re in for a delightful surprise!

A clean palate full of red and black fruits with a hint of fine chocolate. Displaying balance and complex flavours synonymous with Shiraz.  This wine was aged in French Oak Barriques for one year prior to being ‘tiraged’ and then spent a further 11 years on its yeast lees before being disgorged; thus, creating a more mature character to this wine.
A natural deposit may occur within the bottle due to minimal filtering during the winemaking process of this aged wine.
