Nose: A fresh bouquet of melon combined subtle perfume of tropical fruit.
Palate: Textured honeydew melon with hints of grapefruit showing through.
Finish: There is some grassiness on the finish which is crisp and very clean.
Note: This wine spent 10 months in French oak.
This wine displays the pale straw hues associated with its brief time in quality French oak (10 months) whilst it remained on its yeast lees. A crisp, flavoured style with a pleasing palate; showing nice blend of fruits and light oak in the background. Great mouthfeel and excellent persistence of flavour with a clean and lengthy finish. Made specifically as a food wine whilst in its youth. This wine will develop over time. This wine best suits white meat dishes and creamy pasta dishes which are not overly spicy.
