Nose: First impressions are of melon, grapefruit and nectarine supported by the sweet perfume of vanilla derived from lees contact in high quality French oak.
Palate: A soft and flavoursome style that shows the complex nuances’ of barrel fermentation, battonage (lees stirring) and barrel maturation. Extremely supple and well balanced.
Finish: The fresh fruit and oak has the complexity to enhance and elongate the palate. A fully flavoured and long palate ensures your enjoyment of this wine.
Food: Will suit most foods which are not overly spicy or too creamy.
This wine displays green and golden hues associated with quality fruit and 12 months maturation in French oak barrels. First impressions are of Melon, Grapefruit and background notes of Green Apple supported by the subtle perfume of vanilla derived from the high quality oak. A flavour-some, complex and well balanced wine displaying further nuances from barrel fermentation and lees stirring (battonage). The fresh fruit and oak adds complexity to enhance and elongate the palate and in combination with a long and persistent finish ensures your enjoyment. This wine will accompany most foods which are not overly spicy or creamy.
